I am in favour of a more variety of cape design, so that it doesnt obscure your whole back... theres another thread here somewhere with ideas about guild shields and banners...

/signed - add the option to show or hide it at all times. :] As a girl, I like to look at the armor I hard-earned without some ginormous, usually ridiculously coloured cape(Sorry boys, you guys tend to fail at cape colors & designs generally. Not all though, but a majority) in the way. Yeah, I know my reasons are different for not wanting it, but I think capes being shown should be option only even outside of PVP.

For the opposite reason that others bother to /sign it.

To show thier disagreement with the idea. If you complain about people who submit /notsigned, then you should also complain about people who submit /signed. After all, it's only fair...

Be it in PvP on your own with a group of friends or a guild team.

The Game is called Guildwars for a reason, even if you're on a team with random people, you're still representing your guild.

The suggestion is just pointless compared to other areas that need work and would actually improve game play.

let everyone else on your team/opposing team see your cape...i just dont wanna look at the horriable clipping on my end. if you dont know what team your on by the dots on the mini-map and whatnot, you have issues.

As has been (repeatedly) stated, the OP doesn't want to have the capes turned off for everyone, just for his own view.

If they would just fix the clipping issues that assassins (et al.) have with capes, I wouldn't mind nearly as much. I still understand the sentiment though; once I buy my bajillion gold armor, I'd like to see it all the time.

everyone that is doing /notsigned are idiots...cant seem to read

he doesnt want to turn off the cape for everyone's view, just his own view due to glitches with cape/hair/armor/etc..like this one...im forced to wear my dervs hood in pvp just because of the retarded clipping. it's more annoying when im running around. not everyone may have these glitches but until some of the bad ones are fixed, i dont wanna see my cape in pvp, everyone else can see it, just dont wanna see it from my view. dont get me wrong, i like our guild cape but it just annoys the hell out of me lol.

yes, thank you. Now if you actually read why people unsigned... actually maybe you should check those posts again, for you own benefit. But to make it easier, they didn't mention that the cape was to be turned off for everyone's view. They mentioned that if you don't like the cape, then ...yeah. Example:
